Organizations
An organization is the top-level container in Fluxlix. Everything — projects, repositories, team members, and workflows — belongs to an organization. Most teams operate with a single organization, but the structure supports multiple organizations on one installation if needed.
Creating an organization
During initial setup, you will be prompted to create your first organization. You can also create additional organizations from the organization switcher in the top navigation.
Give your organization a clear name that reflects your company or team. The name appears throughout the interface and in notification messages.
Inviting members
To add someone to your organization:
- Go to Organization Settings and select Members.
- Enter the person's email address and select their role.
- Send the invitation. They will receive an email with a link to accept and set up their account.
Pending invitations are listed in the Members section until accepted or cancelled.
Roles
Fluxlix uses role-based access control within each organization:
- Owner — Full access including billing, license management, and deleting the organization. Each organization has at least one owner.
- Admin — Can manage members, projects, and settings, but cannot manage the license or delete the organization.
- Member — Can access projects they are added to and perform day-to-day work such as creating work items and triggering workflows.
Removing members
Owners and admins can remove a member from the organization via the Members list. Removing a member revokes their access immediately. Work items and history they created are retained.
