Licensing
Fluxlix uses a license system to manage access to features based on your subscription tier. Licenses are managed from the admin panel and apply to the entire installation.
License tiers
Fluxlix is available in multiple tiers. Higher tiers unlock additional features such as advanced analytics, increased limits, and enterprise-grade controls. Contact the Fluxlix team or visit the website for current tier details and pricing.
Activating a license
- Go to Admin > License.
- Enter your license key in the activation field.
- Select Activate. Fluxlix will contact the license server to validate the key and activate your entitlements.
- The license status page will update to show your tier, the features enabled, and the expiration date.
Your instance must have outbound internet access to the Fluxlix license server for activation and periodic license checks.
Viewing your current license
The Admin > License page shows:
- Current tier name
- License status (active, expired, or trial)
- Expiration date
- A list of features enabled under your license
Feature gating
When a feature is not included in your current tier, it is hidden or disabled in the interface. Attempting to use an unlicensed feature via the API returns an appropriate error. Upgrading your license activates the additional features immediately after the new key is applied.
Replacing a license
To upgrade or renew, enter the new license key in Admin > License and select Activate. The previous license is replaced and the new entitlements take effect immediately.
License expiration
When a license expires, Fluxlix continues to run but feature access reverts to the base tier. You will see a warning banner in the admin panel before expiration. Renew by entering a new license key.
Offline environments
If your installation cannot reach the license server (air-gapped environments), contact the Fluxlix team for an offline license key and activation instructions.
